About Me

Educational History:

I graduated from West Ouachita High School in 1997.

I graduated from Louisiana Tech University with my Bachelor’s Degree in 2001.
I graduated from Louisiana Tech University with my Master’s Degree in 2010.

Degrees and Certifications:

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

I have a Master’s of Arts in Teaching.

Professional Development:

MDC Cohort 1.

I have attended the SREB regional conference and the LATM conferences.

I have taken part in the MSP workshops.

Current Position:

I have been teaching at SMS since 2017.

I have been teaching with the Ouachita Parish School System since August 2009.

I currently teach 7^th grade Advanced Math and 7^th grade Math.

I am also over the SMS Dance Line.

Previous Position:

Prior to teaching here I was the Advanced math teacher at Good Hope Middle School. I taught advanced math for 6^th, 7^th, and 8^th grade while at Good Hope.

I was at Ouachita Junior High before teaching at Good Hope Middle School. While at Ouachita Junior High, I taught the remediation math labs for 6^th, 7^th, & 8^th grade. I also taught 7^th grade math while at Ouachita Junior High.
